American Youth Football, Inc., established in 1996, is a support services organization, dedicated to giving back to communities by promoting the wholesome development of youth through their association with exemplary adult leaders in the sport of American football and cheer. Guidelines are established to ensure that players play in an atmosphere of learning with a competitive balance between teams.

To lend members support yet remaining NON-INTRUSIVE to local operations.
To make youth football and cheer ALL-INCLUSIVE, by not excluding participants based on superficial factors (such as weight, finances or athletic ability).
To encourage programs for special needs, at-risk and anti-gang groups, as well as the international football community.
The American Youth Football & Cheer National Championships feature the largest youth football tournament in the world. Over 180 football teams & 240 cheer squads that travel from throughout the USA to Kissimmee, Florida, home to Universal Studios Orlando, Islands Of Adventure and Disney World, to participate in 2 Divisions of age protected football & National all-star division, Cheer, Dance, & Step for the title of national champion.
Each team is guaranteed two games, winners advance to play for a National Championship. Games are played every other day. The National Championships is a week long tournament, with on and off field activities, including football clinics, and an AYF only party at Universal Studios Orlando or Islands of Adventure.

Coaching Youth Football the AYF Way and Coaching Youth Cheerleading the AYC Way present fundamental coaching concepts and responsibilities and the most important coaching points of the major skills and tactics of youth football and cheer. The recertification course provides returning coaches with continuing education on topics pertinent to bettering and safeguarding the sport experience for coaches and athletes.

Each year, the top 60 8th graders play in what we like to call the AYF National All Star Game - one of the most prestigious all star games in the World.
